Mother Charline Tucke was born on July 24, 1945 in England, Arkansas to the late Charlie Thomas and Ethel Peggins Thomas Mitchell She attended and acquired her early years of education at Gartrell School System in England, Arkansas. She was married to the late Lee Tucker for 24 years. At an early age, she joined Eudora Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James Wiggins.
Mother Charline Tucker was a Christian woman with a compassionate and virtuous spirit who loved attending church and serving God. She was a devout and faithful member of Eudora Baptist Church for over 50 plus years. With joy and reverent, she served God and her church by working in many positions in the church. She served as the Mother’s Broad President, Church Secretary, Choir Secretary, Mission Secretary, Finance Board Member, Director of Vacation Bible School and head of Hospitality for several years. She was employed at Arkansas State Capital and Holiday Inn. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching daytime soap operas and chatting with family and friends on the telephone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Thomas and Ethel Peggins Thomas Mitchell; husband, Lee Tucker; one son, Michael Tucker and sister, Christine Branch.
Mother Charline Tucker leaves to cherish her many fond memories one son, Charles (Linda-a special daughter-in-law) Tucker ; two daughters, Brenda (Glendary-a special son-in-law) Carter and Donna Tucker all of England, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
