Willie Reed Jr. was born to the late Willie Reed Sr. and Mildred Webb-Reed in Sherrill, AR on May 19, 1952. He professed his life to Christ at an early age. Willie was a member of Solomon Temple in Sherrill, AR. Willie better known as Junior, or Junior Red worked as a farmer for many years, then at Tyson Foods Inc. until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Reed Sr. and Mildred Webb-Reed as well as his grandson Nicholas D. Reed.
Willie (Junior) loved to hunt, tell jokes and spend quality time with his wife and kids as well as his brother Rickey Gay. He loved and cherished his wife Clemestine Reed for 40 plus years. His family meant everything to him.
Willie leaves to cherish his loving, unforgettable memories to his Mother, Rosemary Reed of Little Rock, AR his beautiful, faithful, best friend, his wife Clemestine Reed of Sherrill, AR.
5 sons- Willie ( Melinda) Reed III of Malvern, AR, Tracy (Teamekia) Reed Sr. of Jacksonville, AR, Brian Reed, Maurice (Jerrica) Reed and Greg Reed of Sherrill, AR. 2 beautiful daughters- Pastoria (Jody) Clay of Pine Bluff, AR and Stephanie Reed of Sherrill, AR.
7 brothers-Rickey (Latacha) Gay of Cabot, AR, Charles (Mercedes) Reed of West Palm Beach, FL, Ricky Reed of Katy, TX, Duane ( Mozella) Reed of Atlanta, GA, Frankie (Erica) Reed of Detroit, MI, Andre (Lisa) Reed of Kansas City, Missouri, and Braylon Reed of North Little Rock, AR.
